Objectives
1. To advocate for policy reform on armed violence.
2. Develop strategic partnerships with organizations engaged in policy development and implementation at the community, national and regional level
3. Develop appropriate advocacy tools around the issue of armed violence and development
4. Establish appropriate methodologies, benchmarks and standards for the effective use of advocacy tools
5. To collaborate with stakeholders at the national and regional level to influence policy and legislative reform on armed violence
To be the leading research organization in the region on development and armed violence.
Objectives
1. To be the central repository for documentation on development and armed violence.
2. To explore and analyse data and information on the causes and consequences of armed violence and measures to reduce armed violence.
3. To be guided by ethical research standards in collection and dissemination of information
4. To provide and use analysis supportive of proactive efforts for advocacy, policy and program formulation.
5. To produce publishable research.
6. To responsibly ensure accessibility of information for all stakeholders.
7. To identify policy gaps.
